![]() John Marshall~Baby Johnny~July 26, 2007-September 23, 2007. I am back to designing and sewing after 2 years of learning to first breath again then slowly making my way back to what I'd known as a "normal" life. I lost my 2 month old son, John Marshall, September 23, 2007 due to complications after liver failure. He was an amazing little person who taught me more in 2 months than I'd learned in my entire life. My faith in God is strong after knowing him. I realized miracles are not always what we expect and to be thankful every day for the blessings in our lives. I helped care for my Grandmother, Vada Price, during the last 2 months of her life...8 months after the loss of Johnny. She was our family Matriarch...the most amazing woman I've ever known. We talked one night before she passed. She told me not to worry, she would take care of my Babe. When she passed, 2 days before her 91st birthday, I felt at peace. I knew she was with him and they both would be with me in spirit. I learned loss can make us stronger than we ever could expect. I learned to live each moment of my life...to be there in the moment appreciating each second. I learned the importance of family and friends and reaching out to those in need. I live my life now in memory of my Angels as a stronger, better person for having known, loved and lost them. I share my life with those visiting my site with the hope of helping someone who is or knows another person who is struggling, for whatever reason. I want you to know it is true...a quote I read recently..."If God brings you to it, God will bring you through it." Have faith, be strong and appreciate the blessings in your life!
